Given the importance of safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene for human health and well-being, ECG worked with its partner IMC to deliver an educational WASH (Fresh Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) workshop.
ECG partnered with International Medical Corps (IMC) to address crucial water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) needs in informal tented settlements in the Bekaa and North of Lebanon. With the influx of Syrian refugees straining these informal settlements and increasing numerous health concerns, specifically related to sanitation and hygiene issues, ECG supported IMC in delivering health care services to refugees and vulnerable local populations.
In the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami in Fukushima, Japan in 2011, ECG provided essentials support to distressed communities.
